"Eh, no problem sir." Nero nodded. Yep, it was Serena who distracted him alright. Bitch. "Yeah, Hell High. Go figure." He grimaced awkwardly, seeing as he was a large part in making the school particularly hellish the last couple of years, second only to that BITCH, Serena. He raised his arm lazily, wanting to answer the question. He lowered his arm again, figuring that since he already knew the answer, he'd probably just let someone else worry about it.
"Th-the Black Room?" Chomp repeated curiously, recoiling again as low rumble came from his belly. What ever it was, it sounded better than nothing. "I'm new here sir, may I ask where it is?" He asked, half whimpering from the pain his unnatural hunger he had to endure, half growling through bared teeth.
"Boom?" Nero repeated to himself, quite familiar with that word. It was often uttered playfully by that annoying- GAH. -Before she blew something up. A split second later, something blew up. The sub-demon didn't even looked surprised. What did surprise him, was the human's reaction. He didn't know humans could be so hostile, it was cool, it was exciting- damnit it was hot! He didn't even notice he was smirking. His smirk vanished when he saw the professor's face. He's had way too many events disrupting his class already. Nero didn't want him blowing his top. How would he get to Glen's place later if he stormed off without waiting for him?
Uh-oh. Even worse. The electric stuff around the place was going haywire. There were sparks everywhere. He looked down at the strange spherical mechanical device and picked it up. The sparks didn't hurt him, neither did the thrashing legs. It would take more than that to hurt a Great Dire Wolf. He leaned forward and easily reached out to the human, handing him his thingy. "You dropped your- possessed thing." He grunted roughly, rolling it onto Mark's desk. He decided he'd try to make friends or something. That'd be plus points in his resume, wouldn't it? It'd look good on paper, a sub-demon being helpful instead of destructive. He'd definitely be closer to his goal! The human would be fine as long as he wasn't hypnotized, or didn't attack Serena and make her his enem- oh for FUCK'S sake- He lashed out with his paw, firing a bone dart from the tip of his index finger, which like a gun, he pointed at the wire that had ripped itself from the wall and headed for the Siren, pinning it to the wall with the bone dart. In a burst of speed that didn't suit his size, he was suddenly off his seat, having picked Mark up easily, one powerful arm pinning the human's arms to his side while his other paw covered the human's entire face, just in case Siren decided to retaliate.
"Uhm- uh- Sir, I volunteer to escort Chomp'n'grow- er- whatever his name is- to the Black Room!" He said, thinking quick. "-I'll go on ahead and make sure Mian comes back as well, and get this tasty human- I mean- my new human 'friend' here a glass of water or somethin'- y'know- for those Hell High first year nerves?" He tried to smile sincerely, but did it too widely, once again looking like a serial murderer-slash-rapist. "-aren't I being helpful? You'll tell administration, won't you? I mean, I already know at least this much about vampires, I'll just share my notes with 'em if they need any." He added, referring to Mian, Mark and Chompenrau, who seemed like they'd miss portion of the lesson. "Chillax. I'm not gonna eat ya. I want you to calm down, we're goin' to get ya some water, maybe pay a visit to the Black Room, clear your mind a little..." The sub-demon whispered lowly in Mark's ear, his deep, gruff voice laced with a lulling, soothing kind of demon magic normally used to lure people into a false sense of trust.
Chomp looked scared. Oh no. The Sub-Demon. Demons didn't like Faebeasts at all! How LUCKY was he that his natural enemy would be the one to volunteer to take him to the infirmary- which he assumed the 'Black Room' was? He'd be dead before he reached it! He let out anther groan and hugged his midriff tightly in agony. Now was not the right time!
