Chomp recoiled some more as his stomach emitted another, albeit much lower growl, hugging his midriff in hopes that he muffled the sound even a little. He knew the ordeal he'd have to go through to stay alive would be arduous and hard, but he didn't know it would be THIS painful. He hadn't eaten since he turned sixteen, which was over two months ago, and was forbidden to eat anything for a year. Before he turns seventeen, his stomach is a furnace of powerful but unstable void magic. Should he eat anything, it would be considered an 'ingredient', which could possibly lead to a powerful magical backlash that could kill him, or kill him and everyone around him. He was surviving on ambient magical energy he absorbed directly from the air, water, and his own saliva, as water and bodily fluids didn't affect his condition.

One of the few things he was allowed to ingest was blood. It wasn't normal for a Voidwufr, despite being a more controversial breed of Faebeast, to consume blood or animal meat, though a lot of them started getting into it in the last century. Chompenrau didn't share the same craving for meat or blood, but he was just so hungry, anything looked edible. He noticed the human-dragon guy looking at him, at least momentarily. "Uhm- hi." He said awkwardly, turning turning on his seat a little so his body faced away from Damien, hoping his stomach stayed silent and stopped begging to be fed.
