"Oogh, I never knew wolves were so heavy!" Ereth grunted, pulling Shadow off of his bulky body and standing up, setting the wolf down on his feet. "Rrr, this is bad..." he growled to himself, looking upon the scene, before he blinked in surprise at Infini's sudden comeback, his tail pressing to the floor to steady himself from the shaking. "Uhh...I think getting out of here would be a good idea...at least...for now..." he spoke, trembling a bit, feeling the growing aura as if it were a physical object pushing firmly against his body, causing all his muscles to tense up.

As a last ditch effort, Ryoji suddenly made use of his own strength to topple Infini over, the odds of success probably weren't high, but it was his only chance with a quarter of his body gone and his other arm pinned down. His legs grabbed around Infini's right one. Both of them were pinned by each other now, the only difference was that Infini's arms were free.

Time stopped around them again, Infini was well aware now however. Ryoji pulled with his lower body, attempting to lift Infini off-ground, Infini however looked back and his tail dug onto Ryoji's left leg, suddenly piercing through it. A roar of pain could be heard, but as Infini looked back at Ryoji he met Katt's face, his eyes going wide.

The trap had worked, Infini had been lost into such a rage and had made such a huge goal of making him suffer that Ryoji was able to take the chance to retake the hostage. With her so near his body, he would have no issue now. Infini was like a paralyzed statue all of a sudden, the rage fading and The Spire stopped vibrating. It was as if the sight of an innocent life being subjected to peril by his own guardian was all he needed to become tame, or at least, completely aware of the consequences, more so than ever now that Lacia's death haunted his memories, the blood was on his claws.

Ryoji made no iteration as time went back to normal around them, just bobbed his head around, fangs clenched. Infini's tail withdrew from Ryoji's bloody leg and started stepping backwards as Ryoji levitated up. His wounded form was incapable of walking, so he was naturally thankful for his 'borrowed' ability of telekinesis from Kohryu. His wings beat once, he wasn't bragging this time. He just all of a sudden lifted Katt in the air, making Infini take a step forwards this time. Mortals were not easy to predict, but he would not allow Ryoji to claim another life. Infini rushed forwards, but Ryoji did the unexpected to him: Hurled Katt his way. Infini caught the tigress in his arms, quickly scanning her for any superficial wounds.

With this small amount of time, Ryoji suddenly appeared above Dorothy, using his good arm to levitate her body towards his claw, holding her tightly to his body as he looked up at the magical barrier surrounding the island that Vook Kyrian had created. He nodded to the sky, as if there was someone in the heavens on standby for commands.

The barrier shattered violently at the top, Ryoji didn't even have to read any spell, he levitated out of it just as quickly as he had disappeared from Infini's sight.

The white dragon god looked up with a growl. Mere seconds he had to use to heal Katt back up to shape, Ryoji had used to escape. "Thou shalt not escape! Thou can not escape!" he solemnly declared, his bruised form looking past beat up. It was uncertain with Infini's powers, but Mar's body probably wasn't going to last any aerial pursuit much less any new all-out fight.

"Die," Ryoji's voice came from up above, as if it was some message of divine judgement. The heavens darkened more than ever, and all of a sudden lighting flashed. A now loose ray of electricity crashed in the middle of The Spire, shattering the balance of the aerie, thunder roaring mightly as a second flash blinded everyone except Infini, who saw Ryoji flying off with his other hostage.

The Spire was hit by a very violent earthquake all of a sudden, the aerie began edging to the sides, losing it's center as the rocks were not regenerating. It began falling apart.

Shadow tried to remain steady but the violent shaking soon knocked him to his knees, "Crud, this whole place won't be standing for long, we need to get out of here!" he shouted, grabbing at the ground to keep himself as steady as possible, "Mar, or whatever you are, you can't go after him in your condition." he growled, he wasn't about to lose his friend because some god using his body wanted to continue a fight.

Katt slowly blinked her eyes open, feeling oddly weightless, strange considering she expected to feel like hell, "Mar?" she asked sleepily as she looked up at Infini.

The place was being leveled as chunks of rocks began floating up, more lightening crashing onto apparently strategic spots of the aerie. Fortunately, those weren't occupied by people. With so much stone missing, The Spire began crumbling violently; the magic from the runic ground prevented anyone from attempting to fly away as well, everyone would fall to their death or be buried alive under falling debris.

Infini lost Ryoji from his sight, his aura finishing to heal Katt completely. The white dragon growled, his fury about to take over again, but then he saw everyone else in the dire situation. He could do as he wanted, but his heart would not allow any other mortal life be sacrificed in vain. Infini leapt towards the middle of the crumbling Spire, his magnificent wings spread, and then his body began cackling with energy; thankfully, it wasn't harmful energy, so Katt would be safe, but the others wouldn't if Infini didn't hurry. Unfortunately, his powers were drained thanks to his battered-up shell, and it would be impossible to save everyone by using a time hold, so he decided to go for a last ditch save. He knew after this, he would require sleep, a lot of sleep, but he would eventually punish those abusing his powers and interfering with his world's nature. For now, he had to save lives.

The energy condensed and formed a transparent platinum-white colored barrier that surrounded Infini and Katt, his eyes closed and his focus heightened. The barrier's diameter began increasing all of a sudden, and when its surface touched any live being that once stood atop aerie of the tower, no matter if their hair or just a finger, they'd be sucked into the magic barrier, where gravity appeared not to have an effect in its inhabitants. When Infini was sure that Ereth, Nero, F'Nerah, Shadow, Lino, Lina and Terramoore were all safe, he began slowly descending, but let Katt float off to make sure his concentration would not be hindered at any moment. The debris kept falling all over, bouncing off the protective barrier, crashing onto it. Everyone would be able to see the tower slowly but effectively crumbling apart.

Shadow attempted to stand through the violent shaking, failing to do so as he fell to his knees again. He looked up in time to see the white dome nearing him, suddenly feeling hismelf pulled inside, floating softly inside the white light, "Oh man, is this what death is? Didn't expect it to be so white."

Nero let out one last mournful howl as he was sucked into barrier, and Nera merely sat there, her pupiless eyes wide with disbelief as she stared at the violently trembling ground. "First Atalacia..." She spoke weakly as she disappeared into the energy. "-And now Dorothy."

I'm so weak.

"Grah, that cowardly bastard!" Ereth growled as he was sucked into the barrier, floating around in the zero-gravity space. "We can't just let him get away! Come on, we gotta do something!" he growled, looking around to see that they were floating now, the tower crumbling beneath them.

Infini didn't feel any better than Ereth. He could've just left and have intercepted Ryoji in time, however, his shell was too weak. It would have eventually shattered, and he could not allow that; after all, his shell also was a mortal. Having rushed into action would also have left everyone to fall to their deaths, as the runic boulders that had only been deactivated by Infini's inverse-polarity field didn't allow levitation. It was a very long fall.

Fortunately, their descent was delicate and steady. Everyone would be able to see the chunks of rock falling and smashing onto the barrier, shattering like fragile pebbles. In one instance it seemed like those boulders would smash through as if the barrier was made of glass but it turned out sturdier than it looked. Infini's feet touched the ground and everyone's gravity was slowly returned, allowing them to gently float back to the ground or fly at will again, the barrier was still on though. Boulder after boulder fell onto them, the shattering rocks starting to accumulate around them, "We... art at our shell's limit..." Infini finally spoke, falling to one knee, a boulder trespassing the barrier as it momentarily faded away, but Infini growled, clenching his fists and fangs to make the barrier re-appear. "We dost not desire thy grief, mortals. If thou wishest to live another cycle, thou must flee!" he commanded, holding his left open palm up to use his remaining energy to make the protective field remain there; Infini then pushed his right claw forwards, a shockwave tearing through the debris that had built out of the field in front of them, a path created. "Flee, mortals!"
