"Oh it's alright I-I'll...." for a moment Melody suddenly dozed off on his shoulders. She doesn't snore but she almost fall herself off.

"...Well I think it's obvious she needs it." Lax blinked looking at her from head to toe.



Noticing he's somewhat immune to the heat but, he didn't care, "I'm Felic, the youngest brother of Livian's. The oldest is Roark who just got kicked out of our home after being a showoff and trying to show he's better."

"That's not true Felic!" Linvar hit Felic's shoulder but not too hard.

"I'm glad that kid moved to that cave, he needed all the disciplined he gets for trying to prove that he's the boss of this family." Kaze sat himself down on the living room, "And how much longer are you intending to stay here and go away?" he said rudely to the green dragon.

[Kalyx]

"Well, the answer is obvious, then...", Kalyx gently picks up Melody and cradles her in his arms, trying not to rouse her. "We need to find a place to rest, for the night."

"You're right Kal.", the phoenix gal adds, yawning and stretching out her clawed-wings, "I mean, after our long shift at work, the night club and drinks, and now...to start a search...a manhunt. I think that's a little much."

"Definitely." The canine nods weakly, trying to keep his bearings. " But where are we going stay? Does anyone know of any place that's close by?"



"I know that you probably don't care, but I was concerned for your daughter's safety, when I saw her having some difficulty, in town. That's why I escorted her home. And now that's she's safe with her...loving family (sarcastic)...then I might as well get going, right now. I don't need to stay around if I'm not welcome or wanted."

"Well I would let you guys stay in my place, but it's your normal, average everyday apartment. So it is considerably small, I hardly doubt you want to stay in. Or...you could stay at Sweet Day's place, small house but it's better than nothing and ain't far either."



"Wait Tachyon." Linvar stopped him, her hand gripped onto him but not very hard well atleast not to him. "It is getting too late, so please stay here for thanks as for watching our daughter for us. Please I know my husband couldn't tolerate you being here. But please stay here despite of him."

"Didn't you hear what I just said!? I don't want him here ever Linvar!" Kaze shouted.

"Kaze, just for tonight. I'm sure it's very late for him please, I mean he did escorted our daughter safely through the night didn't he?" The royal bunny knight reminded him, nudging his shoulders although her strength barely budge him. "Please...Kaze..." Her arms then hugged his neck affectionately which made Felic sicken in disgust knowing he should leave those two alone.

Kaze sighed finally giving up like a child begging for a pet puppy, "Fine, just for tonight you hear?"

[Kalyx]

"The closer, the better...I think. So, why don't we just go to Sweet Day's home.", Kalyx suggests as he steps carefully, still carrying the performer. "I think Melody would be more comfortable in a nice, soft bed, than in my hard, scaly arms."

"Oh, I don't know about that, Kalyx.", Fieri winks, then playfully swishes her brightly, feathered tail against the blue dragon's own. "I wouldn't mind taking Melody's place right about now."

"Oh geez." Tachyon hisses through his teeth, as he jogs up near the phoenix. "What am I...chopped liver, Fieri? I'm a normal, healthy, male dragon, too...ya know!"



The young dragon did an about-face, witnessing Kaze's sudden change. "Wow, I impressed with your mother, Livian. I'm amazed that she was able to influence and wrangle back your father, like that." Though, I can certainly see where you get your good-looks from.

Climbing back up to the porch, Tachyon felt suddenly out-of-place, then turned to the dragon-girl, "Uhh...where exactly am I supposed to sleep, for he night, anyways?"

They finally got to Sweet day's small convenient home. Lax knocked on the door, "Sweet Day you there?" It was the bunny he had rescued from the danger, this girl has been target by rapists. It was sadden by the fact that barely have anyone to protect her from harm and more likely she has been violated by so many places that she became scared of men exception of Lax or anyone she knows very close.

"Yes?" A girl with pink bunny ears, and lighter pink ponytails at front appeared at the scene. She seemed very cute and gentle. Probably fragile as well. She noticed two guys were with him, one carrying a tired dog hybrid. "What happened to Sweet Day?" her eyes widen in horror as if she thought some mishap caught her.

"Oh don't worry, this gal is tired, and we were wondering if you like her and her friends stay here." Lax replied leaning his hand on the wall with his laid back personality.

"Oh...alright." Smiled Sweet Day even though she haven't met them, Lax has completely have his trust on him, although two of them looked rather scary to her. The new avian seemed perfectly fine so surely they won't cause trouble.



"Oh there's a quest bedroom here, at the lower floor so take that. We have two guest rooms by the way so wither which one you choose is your choice but they are the same except one is purple and another is white." Linvar explained until she got her body carried up by her muscular dragon.

"Muurrrrrrr...." The dragon suddenly murred at her. "You know you owe me something for that begging." Her guardian dragon had his mouth made into a sensual grin, holding her a lot close to his body which made the rabbit warrior nervous as she knew what he meant.

"What?" Linvar blushed thinking what he thought until he carried up to their room and the door slam loudly as they continued their love session. Making Felic sweatdrop.

"Happens everytime..." Felic sighed.

"They do sound like they're happy." Livian smiled, she had no idea what sex is, she heard about it, but still doesn't know anything more about it other than her parents enjoying their sexual intercourse with each other.

[Kalyx]

They all enter Sweet Day's home; Kalyx still cradling Melody in his arms.

(lowering their voices, for Melody)

"Thank you for your hospitality, Sweet Day. My friends and I are indebted to you." The dragon lies the canine girl down on a nearby couch.

"My name is Kalyx. And these are friends, Fieri and Richter." Which he points to, respectively. "We all met Lax and Melody in the club downtown. And after that, it's been one big adventure."

"Yes, Dear...", Fieri cuts in. "It seems that an acquaintance of theirs, a Miss Livian, was being hounded and chased because of some heinous accusations. We just wanted to help and protect her and set out to search."

"Yeah, but being this late and all, some of us just couldn't stay awake." Richter thumbed his paw in performer's direction. "So, we looked for a place to crash. And...here we are. I just hope we're not putting you out any. We can pay for our stay."



"Well, Felic...I guess you can thank your parents for me when they're not so...um...occupied. And by the way...thank you, yourself."

Turning to Livian, Tachyon continues; nervously scratching the back of his neck, "Well, I guess being that there's two rooms, available, here...you can choose which one you want first, then I'll take the other one. It doesn't matter to me."

"Li-Li-Livian?" Sweet Day stuttered abit. "I know her, she's known to have Gairunn to be more out of control, although I do not tend to tell anyone about her even though her dragon seemed to scared me." She lowered her head. "Although it's very nice meeting you all and there's no need to pay here."


"No problem...oh by the way...Livian lives here and she usually sleeps at the the top of the building, the second floor. And she's no guest either." Felic reminded him.

[Kalyx]

"That's very gracious of you, my Dear." Kalyx bows in thanks, then kneels, one one leg, next to Melody. "I'm sure whatever accomodations you have will be more than adequate."

"Yes, Sweet Day, being space shuttle drivers we have probably slept in just about every type of shelter and bed imaginable." Fieri looks up and over to Richter.

"Yeah.", the hybrid replies. "And, of course, if we couldn't find any place to stay, we'd use the shuttle-bus as our cozy little motel; our home away from home, so to speak."

(The three wait patiently for Sweet Day to lead them to their sleeping quarters.)


Feeling out of place, and not wanting to pry, the young dragon hesitantly responds, "OK...sorry...I didn't know that Felic."

Looking over to Livian, Tachyon continues, "The purple room will be fine with me, if that's OK with you? Also...if you can point out a bathroom or a place where I can wash up, I'd really appreciate that, too."

Sweet Day smiled at them showing three rooms, "Although that's all I have and they're really big beds." The beds look nice, although not as nice Linvar's mansion was, but it is still considerably better than nothing. "I know it ain't much, so I hope you like it despite the room being small."


Felic did the pointers although he did looked quite annoyed, "Right next to kitchen and usually the guest bedrooms always provide the bathrooms also so there's nothing need than to said and be done with."

[Kalyx]

The three friends had followed Sweet Day and quickly looked over the rooms she displayed. (Kalyx had carefully picked Melody up from the living room couch, cradling her in his arms, once again.)

"I think the rooms will be fine, Sweet Day, thank you so much." He bows slightly in gratitude.

The blue dragon then turns to his younger, furry buddy; whispering to him. "If you don't mind, I think I'll room with you tonight, Richter. Melody, here, seems is already out and I don't wish to wake her. I'll just set her on the bed, in the first room over there. I'll just make sure she's comfortble and tucked in, before I join you."

"OK, Kal. You got it." Richter gives him a thumbs up and turns to enter his room. "Yo do know that you'll have to sleep on the floor; have you seen the size of these beds?"

"It's OK, Tach...I don't mind. Just go on."

As Richter closes his door to change, Fieri steps over and taps her friend's shoulder, before he crosses his doorway.

"Kalyx, did you think that maybe Melody would've wanted "you" to room with her. Did you notice the way she was looking at you?"

"I know 'Ri, I know...", the dragon sighs and looks down at the sleeping canine within his arms. "But, I just don't feel right about that. Not now, while she's sleeping. Heck, she probably was just being polite with me, back at the club. You know how my luck with girls have been, Fieri. You're like my best and only female friend." Kalyx gently pulls Melody closer to his chest, as she stirs slghtly.

"Oh Kal, you silly dragon." The shapely phoenix leans toward him, on tiptoes and kisses him on the cheek. "Believe me, Hon...you'd make any girl happy. You're handsome, tall, strong, in great shape..." *she eyes him over from head to toe* "You just have to have a little confidence in yourself, that's all."

"You really think so?"

"Uh-huh. And if Melody doesn't work out, I'd be more than interested to date or see you."

"Well, that maybe soon than later, Fieri. I'm still going to set Melody off in her room and sleep on Richter's floor. Thanks for the kind words, though." Kalyx hugs the phoenix, kissing her cheek. "You're such a great friend."

"You too Kalyx." She returns the hug closing her eyes. "Good night, Kal."

Breaking their embrace, they retire to their seperate rooms. Carefully entering sidestep, Kalyx approaches the room's bed. Squattng down, he slowly lies Melody down; easing his scaly arms out from under her. *sighs* You're so beautiful, Melody. I'm sure you were just being kind with me. I'm no one special.

Slowly pulling up the sheet and blanket, he covers her completely and turns to leave, taking one last look. Good night, Melody.

Heading for the bathroom, Tachyon looks over his shoulder, "I'm going to wash up Livian. I'll be quick, too...no more than ten minutes, tops. Then, I'm off to bed."
