"I didn't mean to offend you, Stone. That's not the meaning I wanted to convey." Turning around to face him, Myrk sits up and grasps his left knee, pulling it up; moving his ankle back toward hisself, extending his paw outwards. "Please...don't be mad."

Stone looked about the room, puzzled, and then at Myrk, "I....Not...Wait, you're. This is pitiful." He rolled himself about on the bed and scooted towards the Cougar, "I'm not offended, nor mad. I-" Stone stopped to choose his words carefully; they apparently like to backfire on him. "My... look, I'm not mad. You've done nothing wrong. I'm just awkward. New environment, you know?" Stone reached forward to clasp Myrk's hand in both of his own, and looked at him with the most assuring look he could muster. "I think I hear your sister finishing, so I think it's best for us all if I just shower and go to bed. Give the reality that there's someone new in the house to settle in."
