Crimson and Kalyx's RPG

[Crimson Fox]

Rayna tried to keep positive despite the situation, telling her friends, "Lets try to keep calm. If they could destroy the Earth without blinking an eye, then they would have done so already. Right now we need to get out of here and group together with the rest of the city." Picking up her duffel bags, she asked them, "Are we all ready to go then?"

About halfway down Main Street, Crimson's car began coughing up some smoke and screech with a loud grating sound. Clearly, the blue sedan not used to long trips in it's old age. Growling under his breath, the fox was forced to park alongside an apartment complex, He started to smile though once he noticed some lights were still on in the brick structure. "Good, maybe I can get a ride." He took the metal briefcase with him and entered the abandoned lobby.

[Kalyx]

"I'm ready and a-willing!" Kalyx swings up his lone suitcase, "but whose car are we gonna take?"

"Well, mine's packed up and ready...", offers Psyri, "...and it has been for days and..."

The dragon interrupts, "So...I'm just supposed to leave mine, behind. Is that your great plan?!"

Leering at the blue dragon, "Can all of us get into that little tin can, of yours?! That tiny little Escort?!...I think not!"

Turning to Rayna," I have a Jeep Cherokee; plenty of room for us all...and all of our stuff."

[Crimson Fox]

"That would be great, hon. I'd offer my car, but it was in the garage gettin' repaired when this whole mess started." Rayna followed alongside Kalyx and Psyrixia downstairs to the car lot. Standing in the lobby, she noticed a rather haphazard fox trying to make a call with the phone. "Hey, do ya need help over there?"

Crimson blinked, hanging up the dead phone and looking at the group of three, a hopeful smile across his muzzle as he answered, "Yes, I do. Where are you all heading?"

[Kalyx]

"I guess we're heading to the shelters, along with all these other sheep." Kalyx replies sarcastically, waving his arm and looking out over the mass exodus of the other apartment's residents.

"Yes, but we're taking my vehicle, too...", Psyri yells back, giving the dragon the evil eye. "So, if you want to be left behind or drive your piece of crap...then so be it!"

[Crimson Fox]

Crimson blushed a little watching Psyrixia's and Kalyx's argument before he interjected. "Um, hate to interrupt, but I saw one of the invader's ships fly close by on my way to town. We should hurry if we're going to the shelter." The fox grabbed his metal briefcase and thought to himself, Hopefully I can get in contact those old cogs from the government once we get to that shelter. This case has to get into safe hands.

Rayna shook her head in embarrassment watching her neighbors argue before adding, "Look guys, lets just take the car that has the most room and get going. It sounds like this town is going to get zapped."

[Kalyx]

"Alright! Alright! You win! You all win! Let's take Psyri's Jeep and get going!" The defeated dragon stomps off in a huff, dragging his 'case behind. "Geez, I didn't want to leave nor hear all this nagging and yammering!"

Jogging over to her Cherokee, the dragoness pops open all the doors and rear latch. "Just pile all your stuff inside. We can always separate and sort out everything, later. Let's just get the hell out of here!"

[Crimson Fox]

Taking a seat in the back of the jeep, Crimson chose to keep his briefcase in his lap, worried about its safety. He turned to Psyrixia and offered an appreciative smile, telling the lovely dragoness, "Thank you for the ride. May I get your name?"

Rayna pushed her two duffel bags inside the rear hatch and made sure they were secure before she stepped away. Noticing Kalyx dragging his suitcase behind him, she gave him a hand with the heavy container. With an amused giggle, she told him, "Aw, c'mon Kal. Don't get all bent of shape. You know me and Psyri dragged ya away because we care about you. I'd hate for those spiders to come and zap ya." The Blaziken placed her talons gently on his shoulder and smiled the best she could with her beak.

[Kalyx]

"My name is Psyrixia.", the dragoness hastily replies, starting her vehicle up and flooring the loaded SUV out of the lot and onto the crowded roadway. "But you can call me Psyri, if you like...all my friends do. Now, uh... what's you name and which way are we heading?"

"Meh...I'm not worried about those aliens, they don't scare me none." Kalyx takes his seat and belts in, after helping Rayna up and into hers. "And caring about me? Heh...that's a laugh. No one does...and I really don't care if anyone does, either."

[Crimson Fox]

"It's nice to meet you, Psyri." Crimson took a few moments to observe the reptilian beauty before he blushed, nearly forgetting he had been asked a question. "Oh...um, my name is Crimson, and I suppose I'll go the shelter with the rest of you." The fox tried to lean back and enjoy the ride, though he couldn't help but be a little anxious. Those invaders are probably hitting the other side of the town as we speak. If only...

Rayna had a laugh and promptly told Kalyx, "A hard head till the end, eh? Well, fine. You're free to think what ya want, but there are people who care about ya, silly." The blaziken leaned back into her seat and tried to smile the best she could with her beak, amused by the dragon's attitude.

Following the mass exodus of people and vehicles, Psyrixia wrangles her Jeep along the debris-ridden roadway; swerving and swaying around strewn garbage and discarded items which cover the road.

*The dragoness veers quickly to right, to avoid an old, rusty 'fridge. "Sorry everyone...", Psyri calls out, "just trying to stay on the road."


Harshly sliding to the left, the dragon suddenly and uncontollable lurches his body against the blaziken's right side. "Goddamn it! Uh, I mean...sorry about that, Rayna. I didn't mean to swear at you. It's just...I couldn't stop myself from..." He looks up and into her eyes. "Oh, Geez!" *tries to look the other way*
