The Darkness

We all have dark souls
Only friends can bring us light
My soul remains dark

I've got an old piece that i wrote a while ago...

I know I must sleep
But I yearn for something,
Someone to snuggle up in the sheets

I dream of the patter of paws,
The blankets posing a lump.
As you crawl into bed with me,
Wolf paws make camp upon my rump.

We slept for what seemed like ages.
You're dreaming of me with you,
And I of exhaust pipes, oil gauges;
Yet still, I love you too.

Like fire and coal we get along,
But you are the flames, teasing and bright.
I am the coal, dirty, dark and soon gone,
And all that is left is ashes, like the bed of that night.

This is for Marrie

When I got hurt
My tears kept dwelling up with sadness
I was hurt so bad
I thought I could end it all just by leaving
A harsh yet comfort tone
Embraced me by his own strong arms
I hugged him back
And kissed him until my sadness was swept away

His tail binds against mines
His blue scaly skin rubbed against my tan like fur.
That's when I felt my heart beating against me.
That I was falling for him.
His strong, yet cute softness inside.
I laughed his jokes.
I cried and worried about him.
However; I love him as he's the one for me.

The Persistence of Emotion

Though the Sun beats down with its fiercest rays
and the Night obscures the skies--
With darkest shadows.
And though the stormclouds lock away peaceful days
in a Bastille only fit for the unwise--
Optimism will carry us through it.

When the sands of Time ravage the land
and the arid winds dry up the earth--
With the mightiest gusts.
When deities of light do not lend a helping hand
and plants wither, die, and do not see a rebirth--
Understanding will carry us through it.

Despite the shadow of Death taking a loved one
and the Flames of anger leading people into the abyss--
All of it stemming from dark hearts.
Despite all of this, we have won
and the emotion of Man now persists--
Love will carry us through...
To Victory.

Unlocking the light and conquering the darkness.

Sitting in the corner there was a girl
A girl who's heart was torned
Her mind always tells her that she shouldn't had born.
The dark eerie dusk came closer more than before.
As she let the darkness allow to swallow her whole.

Suddenly a boy full of light stopped the darkness with all his might.
Who's heart is full of faith and hope.
He turned his head at her and smiled.
Don't be sad, let me cheer you up with love.
A love that you never felted before...
All you have to do is conquer darkness with everlasting joy.

The young girl stopped herself.
Why is the boy helping her?
She doesn't know the boy...yet.
The feeling deep inside.
Could it be that really wants to help her?

So with the girl stepped in front of the dark
And with big cried she says.
Stay away from me you darkness!
Your toil and misery who cause me pain.
Leave me at once!

With that the darkness slowly turned to dust.
The corners disappeared and the light has shone before them.
The boy smiled as he began to hold her hand.
Here, let me show you the way of light.
