Yeah, a lot of digivolutions are strange, like this.

IE, Biyomon's looks seem to vary.

Biyomon (Female) -> Garudamon (Male?!)

But yes, even though the creators say "ZOMG DIGIMON HAZ NO GENDER!" Patamon is indeed male. Even in the original.

Uhh, where is Piyomon ( in General ) a female Design? Sure it is pink and all, but so is RhodoKnightmon. And so is the Flamingo. And some other male animals.

Garudamon on the other hand may have pecs, but birds don't have boobs. And the females are bigger and stronger in case of a lot eagle species.

Now that I look at Lilamon's avatar, why would someone put a Magnum's bullet chamber on a lady's face? Don't mind me, love women and violence, but I doubt they mix well together like that.

Yeah. That was in the 5th Season Data Squad. She would have been a partner mega but we got Rosemon instead.

And got her instead as a BioHybrid.

Besides that, it is a Lotusflower on her head. You can see the leaves sticking out of her afro. The green part is normally purple.
