I don't really have much of a preference other than the fact that I can actually afford a pc. Although I have to admit their are some pluses to the Mac, I don't see how they are worth $1000 more than a pc. For example my friend showed me his iBook and I thought it was far better than the ibm laptops the girls at GPS used. Of course it was also far more expensive.

btw did anyone get Vista today?

My friend would disagree cause she has no problems with the MAC at all but the funny thing is this, I really dont like to contort my hands into a clover leaf to turn of a computer. I had a labby G2 for a while and it sucked in comparison to my Dell Latitude C610 with a broken USB hub!

Meaning of MAC - "Mandatory Access Control", is used to control access to files or resources by assigning security labels or classifications to system resources and comparing this to the level of sensitivity at which a user is operating. With MAC, one can assign a security level to all resources, assign a security clearance level to each user, and make sure that all users only have access to the data for which they have a clearance.
