It's "modern art", by which I mean bullshit that someone's trying to pin a profound philosophical meaning on so they can make money.

The worst is when they hang a blank canvas on the wall and say it represents something. And the idiots still buy it, hell if that's what it takes to be an artist than even my cheap doodles can be masterpieces.

I believe that same museum has a glass jar with Christ in it, full of piss. That is considered great art by them.

By those standards, I could shit in a box, and label it great art.

Modern art is nothing but bull to me.

heh...modern art isn't bull try that and I guarentee you its not that easy, there is a ton of planning and all that to creat a piece. I have had many friends say "It's easy" and I tell them really give them pants and let them try with there hands....and it comes out horrid...

It takes natural talent and planning in the minds eye to create those pieces of art....It really does....

Modern art sculptures like the ones made from old tires are really neat, those I would consider art. But throwing a bucket of paint on yourself and running into a wall doesn't make you an artist, it makes you DEE DEE DEE!

its not that easy to make something that way, lets see if you can try and see if you can come up with this and I guarentee you that it will be no where near the masters of modern art.
