Varlos yelped loudly in pain, as he vaulted back. His pupils shrank as he collapsed back on the floor. "Gh.." He tried to get back up, and almost was sitting up straight, but couldn't find the strength to carry on. He collapsed back on the floor, and he quickly blacked out.

Yorae nodded to Shadow, then leaped away from the scene with him so they wouldn't be noticed.

------THREE YEARS LATER---------

'Twas a bright and practically normal day in Vale - there was sunshine, people were out and about, doing what they needed to do.

Varlos, however, was busy. He was fixing the roof of the house, as Dora watched him. He agreed to do it with no argument, and quickly climbed the ladder to the roof. Swiftly, he stuck a hand out, and a huge hand moved the straw over a hole in the roof. Varlos got down on his knees and started fixing the hole with the extra straw.

Wengren was wandering through the forest admiring the trees and wildlife. "Wonder how Varlos is doing nowadays." he thought to himself as he headed in the direction of his house that he knew the whereabouts pretty well.

Catty had gotten near Wengren by then, she was a teenager now as well as the two boys. Her body had matured into one of a pretty and hot catgirl. When she got next to the Tauren, she smiled a bit, "Hey Wen!"

Yorae was walking down the road of Vale again, "So, we have to convince this old-man Kraden to let us up the mountain?" she asked Shadow as she got near the old-man's house, "This will be swift," she said and took out her katana.

Wengren blinked and looked at the cute girl walking next to him "Is...is that you...Catty? he then smiled "You looking prettier every day, I'm on my way to see what Varlos is up to. Want to come?"

Catty smiled to Wen, "Why thank you," then she followed him to Varlos house, "Sure I'll go. We have classes with Kraden today."

Wengren nodded "You're very welcome." He then walked through the forest with Catty at his side until they came to a little clearing with a warm, quaint little house with the sun gazing down upon it "Wonder if Varlos is home?"

Varlos continued to patch up the roof, as Dora watched him from down on the ground.

"How is it up there, Var?" She asked loudly, holding the ladder with one hand.

"Almost done!" Was Varlos's reply as he padded down more straw on the last hole in the roof.
