its not lyk u didn't do this sort of thing when u were young :!:

I most certainly did not.

I was taught as a child that you only get one chance to make a first impression. I was also taught that this impression is a difficult one to break from the minds of others, and so you should strie always to make the best first impression possible.

I was taught as a teen getting onto the internet that the only way people know who you are online is through what you say and how you type it. Thus your first impression online will be made through your spelling, grammar, and the types of quotes you use for a signature.

Therefore in order to make a good impression online, it is critical that you take your time when meeting new people to present your best spelling and your best writing. The use of shorthands such as "w/e" or "ne1" makes you look lazy but at least considerate enough to use common shorthands. The use of shorthands such as "lyk", "tyem" or "nd" is lazy and shows no regard for the language. Misspellings such as "irelavent", being in a hurry every time you type, and things like that show little regard for how we perceive you.

You say that you "onli type like this cos u r always in a hurri" -- and yet you transpose the "i" in "like" and "time" into "y" while doing the same in reverse is word such as "only" and "hurry". If it is how you type, then you type poorly, lazily, sloppily and without regard to the language.

You ask how accessing this site is illegal? You're below the age of majority concerning the viewing of pornographic materials in most nations, so regardless of it being free to sign up for, you still say that you're 18 (or 21, or whatever the age is where you happen to live, in Britain) when you visit the site.

For those not familiar, "mofo" is a shorthand for "mother fucker", and as this is not a children's site, there's no reason that I cannot say that combination of words. I shouldn't need to fear it being in front of children because this is an adult site.

Regarding viewing porn... I did that before I was 18, but that doesn't mean I went around telling people at those sites that I was a minor who was illegaly viewing hteir stories or images. I was sneaky about it.

Not at all: you'll find this sort of youth culture wherever you find youth, mobile phones and chatrooms. He just fails to recognise that he's only adhering to the most well-known sterotype in the UK: better known than cockney, even. All he has to do now is call me a Southerner and we're done.

That's not to be mean, but to so easily fit into a mold is a bit of a character flaw.

In other news, I don't liker Humvees. They only serve to annoy.

I like that picture.

But, no, this fellow isn't a chav. He's a Geordie (which is the term for someone who comes from Newcastle) and calls himself a nerd. He's a geordie pseudo nerd.

I say pseudo because nerds tend to have much, much better spelling and grammar, and have interests further afeild than cars.

Chavs are much worse.
