If you're referring to pirated games, I've lost all respect for those who partake.

It's not pirating. It's abandonware. It's been 5 years since the games I'm looking for have been released. I'm not taking money out of anyone's pocket, well except for second-hand dealers, but they don't count.

Technically they still own the rights for another 35 years, then it's perfectly legal. But they really aren't going to be starting a problem considering they won't make money off the sale either way you obtain it.

Exactly. I don't understand why people get so nitpicky about stuff like that. If the software's been out for so long that the company doesn't make money off it anymore, what does it matter if people get it for free?

Exactly, but then again they can make money off it by sueing you. But if the game is old I don't see why their'd be legal problems.

If you're going to be technical about it, it's not pirating; it's emulation. ^_^
