Most recent awkwardness...
So my old job sorta kinda got a government grant for me to work again, and I sort of said that I'd take it, but the hours suck extremely badly (ie. evenings, weekends, and Canada Day) so I'll have a shitty summer and never see my girlfriend.
The shitty thing is that the manager there is really nice and I know she won't tell me she minds me saying yes and then suddenly no, but it's because she's nice that I don't want to do it. If I was working 9-5 every day it wouldn't be such a big deal. But 5-1030 and 230-1030 shifts really don't appeal to me.
At all.
So I have to call her today and see if I can weasel out of it.
