I use it more for comedic effect. I dress in polo shirts and I use big words, so professors and peers always get this vibe of excessive formality from me. So then I throw in informalities, such as "ain't," (a non-word that's rarely used in my state) to create a humorously glaring contrast.

I do use "ain''t" every now and then for fun, but my grammar scructure is a little loopy unintentionally every now and then, so I don't always mess around with it.

The first Yankee online friend I had advised me to never use the word 'ain't' cuz he said it was for the least cultured people. After that, I avoided using it as much as I could.
