There have been many Season Five lies in the past (usually not "rumors," just people making stuff up), but this is just about the only one that has had true credibility. The others all came from AGUMNO666LOL in Kansas whose mom W0RKS AT Badnai!!!!!1111 The difference is that this one comes from a legitimate source. Aside from the official announcement, there were actual *japanese* rumors going around on Digimon news sites recently pertaining to this new anime. It's also evident from what Bandai has been up to lately (there's a big digimon push going on in Japan right now, new games, new toys, new manga, greatly expanded V-Jump coverage, etc.) Further information on the nature of this new anime will likely come from V-Jump magazine in a month or two, unless something happens online before then.
