Hey, you can't have different ones all the time. Plus he only apears in a movie and small manga so it doesn't really matter. Plus I think they needed another royal knight to round it off.

It sure saved the programmers time though, being able to use the Guilmon body for Dorumon. It's like having 15 Digimon in the game instead of the alleged 16. Check that, they have WarGreymon X and BlackWarGreymon as playable, so it's really like only having 14 playable characters.

Hey, people's been doing that for years. Like street fighter and mortal kombat. Even in soul caliber 2 they had three of the same characters. They just change the body and leave the rest of the code alone.

Still, it's probably one of the most irritating things developers do. At least in DW4 they aren't carbon copies codewise, they do have a few differing MP techs they learn.
