I never have seen a box of fries, a milshake, or a hamburger as food on that show so maybe they just eat other food

Sure, or either they'd have to raise its rating (R or NC-17) :P lol

And the winner is...Zephyr. For the record, I was never optimistic, just check the thread title. For what it's worth, here's the email transactions. The names have been taken out to protect the innocent, or whatever.

Above all things, I value honesty, and I really appreciate yours. I'd like us to still be friends too, and I'd like to continue to see you at the afterschool program. I thought you'd feel that way. It's not so much that I sensed one way or the other, because you're a bit of an enigma, but it's just the way my luck runs. In case it isn't obvious by my awkwardness, I've never been in a relationship. I decided years ago, when it was already late, that I wouldn't try to start one unless I saw a lot of potential. I know I'm very unusual, so trying to find people like myself is really hard. Non-drinkers are tough to find, and my friends keep trying to make me feel like I'm wrong for not drinking. For instance, Ted's was having engineering night on Wednesday, and they invited me to come along. It felt good, because they usually don't include me. I told them I'd go, but I just wouldn't drink. Then they told me that I couldn't go with them unless I drank. It makes me wonder if they're really my friends. Even fewer people can appreciate my childish interests, and I can't recall anybody else giving me a legitimately useful idea. I guess that's why I was just hoping...oh well, you'll be a friend with a lot in common. I'd love to play pool sometime this week, but there's actually something else that I was going to invite you to. I told you that Meg is the CA for our floor. Well, she's graduating soon, and her birthday is on Tuesday, so my floor is throwing a surprise party for her. It's at 8:30 P.M. in the Whitney basement lounge. I think it would be even more surprising if she saw you there. Besides, there's going to be a cake.

Since you've got some quotes at the end of your sig, I think I'll share the ones I'm feeling at the moment. That last CD I gave you was the one I sing along to whenever something really depressing happens to me. In particular, I feel some relief belting out the lyrics to "Outshined":

OUTSHINED
I got up feeling so down
I got off being sold out
I've kept the movie rolling
But the story's getting old now
I just looked in the mirror
Things aren't looking so good
I'm looking California
And feeling Minnesota

So now you know, who gets mystified
Show me the power child, I'd like to say
That I'm down on my knees today
It gives me the butterflies, gives me away
Till I'm up on my feet again
I'm feeling outshined

*takes money* Good, good. Think I have a future as a fortune teller?
I'm sorry, Wise, for teasing you, but I knew it from the beginning and I wanted to make it less dramatic than it was going to be.

R or NC-17 is the rating where the contents may be offensive. Sex or violence, such stuff.
