It's a little late, considering that I had the meeting on Wednesday, but I guess I should tell you guys how it went. The dude at Lego said he was really impressed with my models, but because Lego already has a line of transforming things coming out, they really couldn't use my idea. Also, my idea was a little too structurally sound, meaning that it used too many pieces, and could get kind of expensive. The guy explained the cost vs. stability arguments, and how cost usually won out, like I couldn't figure that out. I also met with a guy who works the CAD programs they use there, which is exactly the type of stuff I want to do for my career. A little inside information: the Death Star is coming soon, also a new version of the Millenium Falcon, and a 38" to scale Starship Destroyer (or whatever that thing from the first scene in A New Hope was).
