This is my great Lego creation. It does everything that I promised in my birthday topic, and more. I chose "Transform" by Powerman 5000 for the topic, because the idea was inspired by both Transformers and Power Rangers.

For the cockpits, the figures in their chairs have been lifted out for show; that's not how they sit.

My aunt who works for Lego saw these, and she told me that she's going to setup an interview with a guy in the inventors' department. They might end up buying my idea. :D

Dammit, this just reminds me how much I regret going through the "Maturity" stage and telling my mom: "I'm 15 now! Go ahead and get rid of these "toys" you call lego! I need room for my classic Bach record collection!"

What a fool I was...I could never build an entire city out of little Bach bits.

Luckily, I still do have my actual PR deluxe edition zords...though I keep them safely hidden from all my peers.
hmm that's stuff man
hey! how'd that quote get there some one switch the quoted stuff with the first post please
Good news, I just got the legal consent form (saying it's OK for Lego to use my idea) emailed to me. Once I sign it, I can meet with a guy in late August/early September. It's unlikely, but they might end up buying my idea. Sure, the other mechanical engineering students all got internships this Summer, but this would certainly help me even things out. :)
whoa freaky you might make some big change cool
Nice stuff. Not unlike what I'm coming to expect from you, which is seeming to be all good, though I wouldn't want to be implying anything about the contest right now... it being a week yet before the deadline, and well before the intended grading date...

I thought abou it, and I think... yes, I would like to build replicas of these in blender before I ship out (prolly around October). Considering my head project (you can see it at http://NewGaea-NXS.com/blender-images/mi...-face3.jpg) only took something like 5 hours, I may very well be able to do this, with your permission of course.

Good luck with the Lego thingy, man. And I always seem to enjoy your stuff, so I hope that it doesn't lead to any impact on your writing.

You know, that's the nicest compliment I've heard in...in...possibly ever. It was genuine, and it came from a true peer. Also, it came from a serious author, not someone in the majority who just whips out half-assed lemons. Among your straight human couplings (sorry, that's all I'll read), I think there's been some dramatic improvements over your earlier work. "Whips and Roses" is my favorite from your new crop. It has an interesting base plot, some really good dialogue, an uncommon unjust and dark motif, and even a few subtle metaphors and symbols in the narrative. I can't ask anything more from an individual lemon.

Normally, the only people who tell me I do good work are my parents and professors, and I know that half the time they're just saying it so I won't quit. This won't affect my writing. There's a chance they'll buy my idea, but there's no job opportunity here. My writing progress will hit its snag as soon as school starts again, but I'll see what I can do. I mean, I've got other goals. Last year, I got some friends. This year, I'm trying for a girlfriend, one who won't disappear.

I'm not quite sure what you have in mind, but legally, I probably wasn't even supposed to post these pictures. No, I posted them before I signed the agreement, so it's okay. Unfortunately, since I've already signed and faxed, I have to protect them for now. :( The meeting will be at the end of August, probably, and more than likely, they won't buy it. If that's the case, I'd be more than happy to let you use them. I'll give the results in this thread, and if it's a no, I'll PM you to remind you that you can use it. Until then, I know this sounds paranoid, but I'd appreciate it if we could not spread these anymore than they're already being spread. Actually, I think I'm going to make the album private for now. I'm sorry, but I'll bring them back as soon as I can.
I just got a reply, and I got a meeting time set. What, you don't believe me?

Quote:Let's put if off until next week as the Thursday timing is too late for
me. Wednesday the 8th would be perfect at 2pm. Do not worry about
finding my office. Come to reception and they will come get me. Attached
are the directions from the main routes. I am not familiar with the 190
way but many others go that way to the 84. I would try mapquest (ugh)
