Yeah, but that's not what I meant. I can understand that people like watching stupid movies that were only made to make money. I do it, too. What I can't understand is how people can actually appreciate them as creative and cool, like lots of people in this topic -- no offence to anyone -- seem to do. (For me, enjoying something and appreciating something are two different things. For example, I enjoy porn films. I don't, however, appreciate them as good films. I don't think they're particularly cool, no matter how much I enjoy watching them.)

yeah somethings aren't creative my dad just got 50 first dates and it has adam sandler where he get's a girl and rob schieder shows up somewhere and it's funny but is it good? I don't know it he is a good actor and some films are supposed to be bad and I think I lost my point I'll just stop now

There's a flip side to this. Consider how many films are "good", but not necessarily entertaining. The "good" films get Oscar nominations, and the films that are "good" and entertaining win. Tonight, my parents took me to a "good" film, Farenheit 9/11. Parts of it were entertaining too, but the woman with the dead kid at the end kind of spoiled the joy. She had 6 kids already, is it really that big a deal that one of them died in Iraq?

Wisemon, I hardly think Fahrenheit 9/11 is supposed to be entertaining. As for the dead kid -- every single life is valuable. You can have as many kids as you want, if it's less than 50 and one of them is offed, chances are you'll be pissed off. The dead kid probably wouldn't be too happy about it, either.

Hey,been a long time here.
Quote:Kari would win, because Jeri would give up before the fight even started
Then again, why would that be a problem?
I have a couple of interesting ideas even if Jeri did run away.If you wanna see, just tell me.

I have way more ideas for a horror movie.
'Suzie gets to play with Piedmon's make up'
'Numemons' Beauty Contest'

*seeing how people start grabbing hard things to throw she rapidly changes topic*
Ok,a serious one:
'Lobo vs Beelzemon'
How's that?!!!!!!

hey it still came from you it's your kid you made them
you'd be pissed if someone killed them just because it's your family

I know; I just felt like saying something shockingly insensitive.

Egh...just because a movie isn't very "good," doesn't mean it still can't be enjoyable. For example: whenever I watch a horror movie, the best way to sum it up, is by listening to "Bodies" by Drowning Pool.

Okay, it's a morbid thing to do, I admit, but then again, that's why I watch them. Someone is *always* getting offed. It adds to the entertainment of it, and thus, seeing as how that's what I'm after, that's all the reason I need to watch it.

I'm not sure if what I wanted to say turned out right, but the point I'm trying to make is this: it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for originality, you might not like it, but if you're looking for something else (death, violence, bloodshed, ect.), then you'll have a good time. So, while predictable and mundane, it is still enjoyable.
