Well, I like YAOI and I see no problems with it, but all others I know IRL would do.

Yeah, I am straight, but I see nothing wrong with yaoi, and I like to write it, coz it's easier to write in my opinion. ^_^

ANIME/MANGA IN GENERAL:
My friends and family know I like this and there's no problem with it.

HENTAI:
Nobody in my family knows about my passion for hentai (I think), but a couple of my friends do, and we joke about it sometimes. Although I'm the only one around with a real passion for anime/manga/hentai/stuff, the others either like or tolerate it.
I'm not planning ever to let anyone in my family know. That's... I don't know. It just wouldn't feel right. You don't talk about porn with your family. I don't believe in "Taboo subjects", but I wouldn't feel comfortable discussing something like that with, say, my parents. There's absolutely no need to, either.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the way things are.

I live in an apartment with two other guys. We basically share all our porn over the network. Hentai, real porn, lesbian (And I mean a LOT of lesbian). No shame between us.

I hardly bring up my sex life with my family when I see them. Once, when American Pie came out, my mom and I saw it not knowing at all what to expect. After that, we agreed not to ever bring up the matter again, so long as I don't get anyone pregnant.

Uh...Well-Everyone around me found out about my Digi-Hentai passion. Guess I was careless.

Thats how that episode ended. Thank god for open mindedness.

..All my friends also know about this stuff. They always thought the smut I looked at was 'funny.' One of 'em actually checks my art for flaws and mistakes to fix.

damn, almost wish I had families like that, but I cant complain, mines ignorant.

I've actualy been a porn monger for some time, caught twice with stuff saved on a computer, and twice been on the most wanted list (I had to seriously watch my back everytime I got online)

But thankfully when my oldest sis left for collage most the heat was off. my mom couldn't find a file/website to save her life, and my other sis is doing some guy and wouldn't give a shit about my habits.

So i think my family (short of my dad) knows about my habits as a 'young man' but is so ignorant they cant put two and two together.

My friends on the other hand know and in a strange way, support my habits.

No one knows about my "secrets" and hopefully it'll stay that way. I have a really open minded family and my friends are very understanding, but I don't think I could live down the embarassment of them finding my porn collection. Thankfully I'm good at covering my tracks 8)

And they also can never find out that on nights and weekends I fight crime in the streets of Philadelphia. Oh, and you people can't tell them either!

Lemme think...

About 4 or 5 years ago some guys in my class told me to draw a topless chick. They then turned around and gave it to one of hottest girls in school and told her I drew her. Left me kinda paranoid, but I punch my friends every time they bring it up.

No worries though.

I have my own private storage case in which I keep my drawn stuff hentai or not. Every year or so I pretty much throw all the hentai I've done away in spring cleaning type stuff.

As for my folks, well... what the hell they gonna do about it? I'm 17.
I mean, they blast me for having sex with this girl I met 2 days earlier, so if they blast me for hentai I'd tell 'em "Do you want me gay or what?"
