Neither did I: When I had tails, they were lizard-like always, and I never was a human with a tail, but the creature itself. Retarded child mind.

Why not? Something big (like, 3 or 4 feet), fluffy (but not overly so), and strong enough to comfortably balance one's self on.

I'd definetly want a tail either a red fox tail, or a monkey tail because 1. Fox tails are fluffy and cool and 2.Because with a monkey tail it'd be like having another arm in back to pick up stuff, and if you wanted to hide it you could just wrap it around your waist (also eliminating the 'getting tail caught in elevatar, subway door etc.' threat)
