Well, that does have some basis in reality/actual mythology; I mean, originally, depending on who you asked, it was either that or basically a flesh-blood-etc equivalent to a golem... Basically frankenstein's monster but mystical instead of scientific, and that have no mind/willpower period and that would have no physical choice but to obey every command. Though in more common mythology/social beliefs, a wraiths/lich or a shade might be more accurate... Just more useless thoughts from me... Pay no mind...

Yeah but do we want to be feeling sympathy for the undead? I mean if they're fully concious and aware then they probably won't be all insane and flesh starved, which means there goes pretty much the whole point of a survival horror RP. Maybe when a human is first turned, I.E. bitten or just recently died and was resurected, they'll still have enough of their own blood and flesh to remain sane, however as time goes on that flesh and blood deteriorates and they slowly devolve into the flesh crazed zombies we all know and have nightmares about.

I think I'll make my zombie wind up helping the survivors, either somehow being enslaved, bribed somehow, or threatened into doing it.
And I vote mixed style, but then that's cause I always pick that one. X3
