A Kingdom Defeated (Rape rp)
Grace would feel Hunter's arms gripping at her dress. The response obviously pained him, and he let out a broken sigh. "Then, please Grace....Put all your love, all your purity, your kindness, your very essence into this last kiss. I will do the same, just please, let me feel your lips one more time," he begged, and if Grace accepted he would place his lips on her own, where all his love would enter her beautiful body. One last kiss, before he hands her to the devils.

Grace did this for him and kissed him one last time, one last gift to the man who has taken everything from her. She kissed him with all the love she has left, which was not allot. She was almost bitter, almost hateful, but her own purity would not allow such emotions, so it was all turned to sadness. Like a Frozen rose, Grace stayed beautiful but cold and would die that way.

When the kiss finally ended, Hunter placed his forehead on Grace's. "I...am sorry, my love," he whispered, and a single, tiny, almost invisible tear fell from his eye and on to her face, and slowly traveled down until it entered her lip. If there was nothing left between the two 'lovers' he would silently carry her to his foes and give them to her as promised, and would not leave or even let them touch her until he had Alexander.

Grace....What will I do without?

((Wow...this is depressing....You know, for some reason, whenever I think of Hunter and Grace, Romeo and Juliet come to mind. Both lovers, in a way, and both are tragic.))

Grace was held out to the Frankish king like a living prize and the man took her hungrily from Hunter's arms. He wanted Grace as well, he wanted to taste her flesh and sample her screams. Grace would not die that day, he would take her to his war tent and for a minimum of three days he would toy with her until he grew bored. then he would pass her to the men of his army and allow them to fuck her until she died. That was her fate.

Grace looked frightened and small in the mans arms, curled up and crying silently as Hunter stepped back. "Ah the fair Grace. What a prize." He said proudly hugging her to his chest. "It is a shame she will not last. Cut him loose!" Two men then dragged Alexander forward and cut the bindings off his arms. He dropped to the ground like a sack of potatos and would stay there if Hunter did not help him up.

The Frankish King smiled. "Now, a short reprieve. I wish to savor my-" the king was cut off as an acid arrow blasted into his armor and knocked him and Grace off the mans horse. Suddenly a rain of arrows fell upon them all as the Saxons fired from their walls,. though the arrows that struck Hunter bounced harmlessly away as they did with Alexander, both of them shielded by an invisible magic. Grace to, was spared the biting of the steel arrow heads.

"Like we Saxon would honor any deal made with such lowly creatures!" Came a declaration from above. Mickal hovered over them, his power amplified by several nights with his captive fairy. The poor creature was nearly dead now but at least she had given him enough power to do this. Casting again, Acid arrows joined those of steel and wood and the army before the fell into disarray. "The Queen..." Alexander Gasped as he was helped up by Hunter (assuming). "Save...Grace..." He groaned as he suddenly twisted around, knocking Hunter out of the way of a lance that nearly drove through them both. Alexander quickly grabbed the shaft, disarmed the rider and began to fight using the last of his strength.

"Save...Save her!" He yelled as he impaled the Frankish King on the lance with such hate it seemed his eyes may shoot fire from their sockets.

Hunter let out a victorious laugh as the king fell over dead. "Very good, Mickal!" he yelled and then looked at Alexander. He helped his fellow warrior and friend up, but was suprised when he was suddenly pushed away. He looked at Alexander, then at Grace. Is this what Grace foretold? Or had they jsut beaten her prediction?!

Thoughts zoomed in Hunter's mind, but he quickly ordered them to stop. "Get back to the castle, Alexander, you are injured and our people need you! Mickal! Forget about me, focus your magic on protecting Alexander! He needs it more than I!" he shouted to the mage, before looking at Grace. "I'm coming, my love!" he yeleld, and like a battering ram charged to his wife, tentacles shooting out of his skin to help him plow through the group and save Grace. "We have to get back to the castle!" he yelled to Grace, knocking any enemy aside who dare get in his way.

Alexander would have responded if he could have but a sword pierced his flank and he released a terrifying roar of pain. Grabbing the soldiers head with his bare hands, the might Saxon Champion twisted the mans skull off his nick and ripped it off, throwing it into his next assailant. He snapped the staff in half, the Dying king still having the tip of it shoved between his ribs as he gasped for air. Alexander used the half he kept as a crutch as he began to make his escape.

Mickal was to busy keeping the waves of soldiers at bay with his magic, sending lighting, fire, earth and acid into the wake of the enemy ranks. Grace was scooped up into Hunter's arms and clung to him but Hunter was soon cut off by enemy cavalry, Cassandra amongst them. She raised her lance high and they charged.

Hunter held Grace in his arm and his heart skipped a beat as he heard Alexander cry out. He looked at Grace with a confused face. "Grace, is this what you were talking about?" he asked over the noise of battle. "I....I don't think I can. I love you, I can't lose you! I'm so confused!" he screamed as he used his tentacles as legs, which helped him jump into the air, making him and Grace shoot far above. I can't sacrifice her! I...I can't.....Can I?

Grace said nothing and simply held on to him tightly, weak and defenseless as she was. A horse man came up behind them just as Hunter landed (He would need to get in through the gate) but Alexander was faster than the riders lance and threw his splint right into his face.

Unfortunately, that left the champion without support and to many injuries and he toppled to the ground. Warriors would soon be on him, if Hunter did not save him then he would die. But right now was Hunter's chance at a clean get away with Grace, going back for Alexander would not mean he had to leave her behind but if he abandoned the champion now, he would make it safely into the castle with his love.

Alexander began to try to crawl after them but for all the mighty champions strength, he had none left to spare.

No....No....I...I can't lose her! he thought, but suddenly remembered his promise....He would live for Amy. Their child....He had to live, and to live, he had to sacrifice her, his wife, his Grace..."Grace, run!" Hunter commanded, letting her go. "Run!" he screamed as he turned around and charged back to Alexander, plowing through any warrior who dare stop him. "Alexander, come on, we must hurry!" he yelled, helping the warrior up and helping him get to the castle.

As Alexander and Hunter scrambled to the castle, they saw Grace run as well. She was running with all the strength her weakened body had left, and nearly tripped several time. It seemed like she would make, she was almost there, almost, almost......And she made it! She ran in through the doors and out of sight, safe and sound.

The same could not be said for Alexander and Hunter however as they were suddenly cut off by a lone horseman, or rather Queen. Cassandra sat proudly on her horse before them and laughed at the pathetic pair, Hunter unarmed and Alexander half dead. "I could kill you now Hunter. But for what you did to me and my lover I will make you pay in heart blood." She said hatefully as she leveled her crossbow with him. Suddenly her other hand produced a horn and she blew into it, and from the curved devil horn came a sound Hunter was probably not expecting. His own voice.

"Grace Help me!" It called in his own voice. And on cue the frightened fallen princess peaked out of the castle gates, and the crossbow fired. Grace was dead before she hit the floor, never even understanding what hit her. The crossbow bolt penetrated deep into her heart and lungs, she died several deaths. The Queen of the Brits had no smile on her face, no visage of vengeance completed or revenge taken. She had a sour look on her face and in truth felt dirty for having slain such an innocent creature. But such were the ways of love and war.

"This is caused by you Hunter of the Saxon. By you and you alone. Creatures like you may never live in the light of love, never savor its true warmth. Know that at least she died swiftly this way and that the Frankish king did not loose his desires upon her. When you think of me, hate me, fear me, show no mercy, but show understanding. You reap what you sow Saxon, and you sow misery, so reap your fairly gained agony, drown in it, choke on it, perish in it. It will make you more human than any of your Saxon brethren. Take solace in that." And with that she rode away, leaving a clear path to escape, and to Grace, who lay dead in the dirt.
