Is PWP inherently bad?

A one shot might aim at making the reader cry, feel fluffy, laugh or feel sorry for the character.

I try for the warm fuzzies, and I like stories that make me feel warm fuzzies. Mmmmmm....warm fuzzies...

I'm also one for that sort of thing.

When you have no plot, you have no interaction with characters. To be able to enjoy the sex, a fellow must first have a connection with the characters so they can imagine themselves in the position of whichever partner they'd prefer to be. Stories without plot bore me.
