I dunno about that. What I've found when fighting idiot thugs (in this case a football player) is that your best chance is to play dirty. Don't aim for the Torso Box, go for up or down, as those places have less ways to defend. In my situation I socked the guy on the nose. He was bleeding and the fight was over by the time authoritative intervention got there. Of course, if those power-crazed bastards had gotten there earlier I wouldn't have needed to hit him.
