It's not just RPGs and FPSes, it's Stratagy games. Stratagy, besides simplistic turn-based games on the hand-helds, and psuedo-strategic games on consoles, is impossible. Why? The controller will never work as smoothly as a mouse and keyboard, as evident in Starcraft 64. It never work.
Large scale-management would be horrific if it was tried on a console, like these games:
