I'm sorry to hear that. Are you sure the disk itself isn't the problem? Look for scratches or marks on the back. Also contact support for whoever makes the game and see if others have a similar problem. They also might have some sort of patch out. If none of these work then it might be the computer.
I learned long ago not to rely on PC's for video games. That's why they make consoles. With the exception of the occasional freeze-up, and certain older games (which I've figured out a trick for), my PS2 doesn't fail.
Yeah if you want a computer that plays games get an x-box if you want a game system get either a PS2 or a gamecube. (I have a gamecube and I like it.)

For one thing, what's the only Blizzard console game? Starcraft: Ghost, which isn't even out yet.

Yeah if I want a game on my computer I'll go to shockwave or get an emulator I don't need games on my computer and I don't like games like starcraft, MMORPGS, and... wait are there any more notable games on the PC?
...Half-Life 2, maybe? How about Call Of Duty? Battlefield 1942? Unreal Tournement series? Tribes series? Doom series (only Doom 3 came out on a console)? Quake series (4th one coming out) ete.

The fact is that there is only 2 platforms in which console gaming has PC gaming beat. Racing, and fighting. That's it. Everything else, superior or even only possible on PC (like most stratagy games)

And how many of these characters have appeared in comic books or TV shows? Like I said, they're generic, though Doom will be getting its own movie, not that you can see the dude's face.
Because movies and TV shows make for the best games, right? Your idea that because it doesn't have movies it isn't deep is idiotic.
You want to see awesome charecters? Warcraft series. Best charecters in any game. Gul'Dan, Arthas, Orgrim ete.
