I might just be a white guy who doesn't understand descrimination as well as a minority, but that doesn't discredit my knowledge on this subject, for anyone who lives can learn about it. If you can't transfer, then just don't associate with anyone. Simple as that. And if you overhear comments, just convince yourself that they don't matter, which they really don't. One may say that words hurt, but that's stupid. Would you rather be insulted by an idiot's comment or have your head smashed in by a sledgehammer? Hm, hard to say. I think that's all the advice I have right now. I do hope you can either escape from the situation altogether or somehow cope with it. Good luck.
I do not have plans to leave. No. I was just informing people how life is like, from the non-white/non-upper class point-of-view. That is what I was trying to do. It is a Cinema vérité style I was trying to do articulate.
