I do believe that I fucking hate this university that I attend. The school is made of a bunch of upper class White students--who come from trust fund or who really pay the whole costs of the entire 4 yrs. There isnt that much diversity(I'm speaking the fucking truth on this one everyone). Its like 95.5% white in my classes. Mostly everyone here thinks there shit dont stink; a "I'm better than you, because I have more fucking money and you better get the fuck out of way...." attidude. Its quite a shame, really since the end of Civil Rights era of the 1950s, 60s, 70s, that this school hasn't open the flood gates of diversity. It still has somewhat of a faux feeling of the segregation. And other thing I would like to mention on this expose of this school is the Greek life. Sorrorities and Frats, you know. Its just a bunch of upper class arrogant shitfaces that exert somewhat of a dominance. I hate when people fucking ask me to "..rush." I wouldnt fucking surround myself with a bunch of arrogant motherfuckers. What is the point of a fucking frat or sortority. I know its just a brotherhood or a sisterhood, but is the real fucking point of. I mean if it really where a "brotherhood" or a "sisterhood", you wouldnt charge outlandish charges just be a member. What is with the outlandish charages? I do not know, I do not give a fuck about that right now. I believe that this school is still frozen in time. Instead of it being the year 2010, its really the year 1950 on this campus. It fails to open a torrent of diversity. I do not really a place where its not a melting pot, you do not stick amongst a crowd of people on a daily basis or get looked at. I have met some people: some arrogant, some not so arrogant. Its somewhat of a mix. I had been snubbed at least twice already. First this chick I was talking to converse with, was like a bitch to me. I didnt get what her problem, I guess she doesnt like Hispanics or something. Second, I was walking down my hallway in my residence hall and I see this white kid talking with another kid. I heard him mention that my room had a bunch of "poor people in there." Wait a fucking minute! Actually not everyone in there is poor. I do not consider myself "poor" in the context that little cracker ass said, but I consider myself lower class. I do not know who told him his "fact", but I did wanted to beat that little twit with my brown fist on his face. I just kept my cool, and just went back to my room. This all I have to say, about my days so far in college life. I'll continue to report more details in this expose'. Its 1230 in the fucking morning. I need some fucking sleep now.
Wow...
All I can say is that you should probably transfer to another college or university. Either that or don't complain. Seriously. If you researched this college thoroughly, then you would have known at least to some degree how horrible it was. People are gonna act however they want to act. That's a fact of life. You can't stop someone from being who they are. That's why prejudice still exists the world, even though the civil rights movement was so long ago. I might just be a white guy who doesn't understand descrimination as well as a minority, but that doesn't discredit my knowledge on this subject, for anyone who lives can learn about it. If you can't transfer, then just don't associate with anyone. Simple as that. And if you overhear comments, just convince yourself that they don't matter, which they really don't. One may say that words hurt, but that's stupid. Would you rather be insulted by an idiot's comment or have your head smashed in by a sledgehammer? Hm, hard to say. I think that's all the advice I have right now. I do hope you can either escape from the situation altogether or somehow cope with it. Good luck.

I do not have plans to leave. No. I was just informing people how life is like, from the non-white/non-upper class point-of-view. That is what I was trying to do. It is a Cinema vérité style I was trying to do articulate.
Ah, if that's what you were trying to accomplish, then I got ya. Though it could have been articulated a bit better than it was. If you want people to understand it, you should practice your grammar usage. It's just so your message is more clearly conveyed. But I don't know what you were expecting with a university that has the words "Texas" and "Christian" in its title. Those two mix to form something just...deplorable. I do wish you luck though. Keep us updated then.

Masquerade, the university is not really "Christian", in that pretext. Every single person that attends this university, is not a Christian. Its just how people see it as it. Yeah, there are Christians that attend their, but its not every single person. There is no forced doctrine shoved down the throats or homophobia shit--which by the way, it was quite unorthodox in a mostly "Christian" setting. This idea I'm trying to articulate; a Cinema vérité style of writing, which just write what I hear and see what I see--unedited and raw from the mouths of college students. I want people to see what I see everyday. I'm not sure, if this has been done before.
It's called particularized journalism. And I agree with Masquerade, if you wanna continue doing this, it would be a good idea to practise your wording, grammar and sentence structurization to make your posts more legible and consequently, more entertaining.
When I read this, it is quite interesting to read this. About what this says about my university is true. There isnt that much interaction amongst different races. Like this one example, I was eating lunch with my White friend; I get this "look" with some people. It is like, they never seen a Hispanic eat lunch there or something.
Look on the bright side: You're safer at a white school... as long as you're white.
That may be true in some areas. I went to a technical school that had a good portion of African Americans going there. Good people though. But that's part of my personality. Couldn't get any darn free money from my state though. (stupid educational lottery)

The one girl that had a problem with me was Half Black, Half Vietnamese. I think so. But the information on that is locked up in my head not to get out.
