"Oooh, thanks for the the lift, Eth!" Mar smiled, landing on the concrete of the roof, stepping up with one foot. He was back to intently watching the action in front of them soon, his eyes trying to focus on the cloud of dust that had been kicked up thanks to the connection of the massive imp-demon's attack to the spot where Prisma had been standing on. Rubble had already begun raining down the street; the demon's muscles didn't seem to be just for show.
The dust slowly began clearing, Mar's eyes widened at the scene that unfolded before everyone's sight.
The gigantic demon's feet were dug onto the remainder of the spot he had crushed, "Y-you survived?!" the muscular imp blinked its red eyes, his fist had been stopped by the crystal staff Prisma was holding in front of her with both claws on it.
"Foolish demon," panted Prisma, "Your brute strength cannot hope to accomplish anything against me."
With that confident statement, Prisma attempted to side-step, but the demon caught on before she could do anything and lashed out with a massive hand, instantly catching her in his strong grasp. Prisma groaned lightly, the dark liutenant engulfing her in both hands. "A brute, eh?! Let's see what you can do against a brute's TRUE strength! I'll crush you into dust!" he boomed. Prisma's eyes widened as Alexis appeared from behind, a morning star impacting on the demon's head. A loud thud was heard.
Mar was about to cheer, "She got him!" he jumped, "She... Huh?" his eyes locked onto the scene. What he couldn't discern was the fissure that was spreading along Alexis' weapon. Strong as it was, the demon's hide and bones had nearly tripled in density, making physical attacks almost obsolete to the point that the impacts would be absorbed and redirected. The fissure continued to spread until eventually the morning star's head shattered to pieces; the force so strong that not even the handle survived. "Holy shit, that guy's head's hard!"
"Hm? What was that?" the bulgy demon grunted as if a mosquito had just tried to sting him. He turned around and then all of a sudden his now longer tail reached up, wrapping around the elf's legs. "I'm busy, wench!" it roared, pulling down with all its physical might, attempting to crush the elf against the walls of the building underneath him.
"Elf-girl!" Mar shouted, "Damn, I'm too far away!" He began jumping from roof to roof with all the might his legs could muster, but he wouldn't make it in time!
