Ky doesn't know what to say. He just felt a bit more comfortable with another person there.

"Hmm," says Dei to himself, ignoring Sothe. "Their attention will be on Zeke. I can find another target. Let's see...."
He taps around on his main computer until Flamey's image comes on screen.
"Perfect," says Dei. "I can get him and that will lure Flicker into coming here to get revenge. Hmm... I have the perfect thing for this."
He moves to an odd-looking device. In metal was the general anatomy of a two-legged being--no hair or special body features or anything. Dei moved the leg joints to match a Flamedramon's, and then went to the machine's control panel.

Flamey was fast asleep on the couch. Suddenly, Mar and Flicker could hear him whimper and stir in his sleep. Shortly after that, he completely fell off of the couch, waking up with a startling cry.
"S-STOP, THAT HURTS!"
Flamey could feel a piercing pain in his stomach. It was like something was cutting through him!

Dei laughed as the long needle was suddenly absorbed into the metal sculpture, around the abdominal area. "That must hurt."

Mar heard the cry of pain and gasped, quickly reacting and running to Flamey. "Flamey! What's wrong?!" he said as he quickly knelt in front of the little dragon, turning him on his back as Mar stared on his face.

Flamey was grimacing in pain, tears coming from his eyes. "I-It hurts... m-make it... s-s-stop...." he pleads, clutching his stomach where it hurts.
He began to cry as another sharp pain pierced his arm.

"Wait, hold on!" Mar said, eyeing where Flamey had his claws on, he put one of his own, trying to soothe his aparent invisible wound from his body with some energy he used to heal. Mar clenched his teeth together as he saw his friend with his arm in pain as well and moved his free claw to give it the same treatment he was giving to Flamey's belly.

Dei picked up a ball made of the same metal as the sculpture. He didn't do it too hard-- but he threw it hard enough at the statue to give Flamey a headache he'd never forget.
Flamey gasped and clutched at his head. It was as if someone had thrown a rock at him! He whimpered and cried, frustrated and confused and in a lot of pain despite Mar's efforts.

"What... the hell... pain coming from nowhere... WAIT!" he gasped. "This is the same... it's like a spell... oh rats... I must focus or whoever is hurting him will just kill him slowly..."
Mar soon placed a claw on Flamey's chest and one on his belly, then closed his eyes, trying his best not to lose concentration from his friend's agony yells. "Please work..." he thought, then focused his energy again and closed his eyes. "Un-chain..."
The technique Mar used didn't heal, but started to interfree with the bond between Flamey and the vodoo-like magic Dei was using against him; making it slowly vanish from Flamey, but Mar didn't have to be distracted, or all the pain would be inflicted upon himself.

Dei's machine's screen blips and the word "Interference" pops up in bold text.
"Hmm... So his friend is trying to help, hm?"
The statue's arm moves up, and the statue splits into two smaller matching statues. Dei smirks and a sword made out of the same metal draws itself across both of their throats.

Flamey gasps, whimpering and crying in pain, not daring to move a muscle as a fine line of pain shoots across his neck.

Mar widened his eyes, feeling a huge amount of pain striking his neck, it was his most sensitive spot and he recieved lots of damage with the cut that was slowly formed.
The ''spell'' he was working on malfunctioned and a blast occured, Flamey was totally immune to the effects of Dei's machine, but as result, Mar was the main target now!
"ARGHHH!! DAMNIT!! FUCK IT HURTS!!" he clenched his fangs, holding his neck in pain.

"Hmm," said Dei. "This Mar is going to be a nuisance. Alright then, if he wants to play too."
The statues merge into one again, but the swords don't. They both draw across the statue's neck simultaneously-- and this time, the effect goes to Mar.

Flamey lays there for a second, whimpering and panting, tears coming from his eyes as the pain slowly fades.
He tilts his head at a couple of the words Mar uses, but becomes alarmed to see his friend like this.
"Mar! Mar, no!" he sobs. "M-Mar, speak to me!"
