i is have teh flu, it is uber suxor anybody have any ideas on what i can do? (btw flu shot is BS... yes i got it)

Flu shot can help, but there is also a chance that you will actually get the flu from the shot...
anyway.. I would suggest wrapping up in blankets.. drinking a lot of orange juice, eating really easy stuff (like soup), and not moving around much. Don't forget to drink some water in there too...

flu? and the flu shot...? well the flu shot is exacly wat it is....a mild version of the flu.....its not really a "vaccine" it's just a mild flu....that way you are immune to the actual flu.
what i suggest is what Niyara had said....drink plenty of clear fluids (no, not alchaholic beverages either..) take your medicine as directed...eat soup, stay warm, and don't move so much....that's all the basics for it

There is no cure for the flu. Flus are viral, so once you're infected, you have to wait for your body to fight off the virus for you to become well again. If you want to help your body along, get lots of sleep and drink lots of fluids. If you're tired, sleep. If you're hungry, eat. If you're too hot, cool down. If you're too cold, warm up. It's just symptom management. You'll be fine in a few days. If you find yourself coughing a lot, get a cough syrup with an expectorant in it; that'll suppress your cough reflex and break up the phlegm so when you really need to cough, it will be productive.

And another thing: the flu (like the common cold) mutates. No two flu viruses from any two flu seasons are exactly alike. Which is how the flu continues to infect you year after year. The only way to get a jump on it is to get the watered-down flu (the flu shot) to train up your body for the impending battle :3

If you take medicine for the flu, it will cure in a week.
If you don't take it, it will cure in seven days.
Nothing you can do. If you have muscular pain, breathing problems, or coughing that don't disappear in two weeks, ask for your doctor's advice.

Whatever you do, don't do what I did after I got a flu shot that gave me a one-night flu. Few things in life bring more indecision than the need to be wrapped up in blankets after you've taken half a bottle of laxative.
