Asmo, do you have an FA? If you do/don't, I could advertise a bit for you. Could also ask other members here who have FA/SF accounts in order to advertise your commissions too. I don't think any member here would need payment in the form of your great art to donate to DaD, so it's kind of useless to ask here; everyone would've donated already if they had money and the means to do so.
But, your skills are something else entirely. If we advertise that you're doing commissions, people may actually contact you and offer you work. What do you say?

Yes, quite. My buddy is having problems registering there as well. Don't worry though, Deviant Art & SoFurry will most likely admit you. If you don't want to make extra accounts though that's fine, I can gather a few friends to advertise your comissions for you. Just tell me the full comission information (Prices for sketches, full pictures, colored, comics, OCs, etc) here or via PM and I'll make sure to make a journal and have people do so as well in order to let you gain some attention. If many people help with this, you'll have work in no time.
Is it okay if I make a journal about your SoFurry account then? You know, so people get to see your art and they have a sample of what you can do. And after that I shall add that you're doing comissions in order to know how much they have to pay for your art.
