Or, slide down it and hope for the best, because then you'd at least enjoy yourself a bit whilst plummeting to a highly plausable death.
Life's basically a game of ups and downs, benefits and drawbacks. Make the right move and things look up, but a wrong move can set you back. Knowing the risks of the moves and how to play the game is helpful in maintaining a good lifestyle.

I always found killing to fulfill me. Maybe you simply need to look in places where humans don't normally look.
Hmm... When you get to the mountaintop, do you just give up? I say help everyone reach the top like you did, cuz being fulfilled sounds mondo boring~!
