So after a bit of chatting with DMX where he talked about watching some old cartoons he used to I decided to do the same and look up/download some of my favorite old shows. Here's what I got:
Swat Kats: Anthromorphic felines that fly jets and blow stuff up.
Thundercats: Anthromorphic felines fighting evil and junk.
Road Rovers: Anthromorphic canines fighting evil and junk while making me laugh my ass off.
I'd be more surprised if I WASN'T a furry.
Samurai Pizza Cats!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Uhm... The Lizard from The Amazing Spiderman? XD
Thundercats.
Bucky O' Hare.
Yeah... nothing awkward with that.
Eh, I played a lot of games with animal mascots and watched plenty of cartoons such characters, but I can't really point to most of them as the cause. As hot as Cheetara was on Thundercats, I'm fairly certain it was Renamon that hooked me in. I always loved that cool, sexy voice she had.
All of the above plus Looney Tunes, Walter Lantz, and Disney with their myriad of funny talking cartoon animals.
And Catdog.
And Biker Mice From Mars.
Let's see, Thundercats, TMNT, Sonic the Hedgehog, a lot of stuff.
How I became ok with (most) furries.
Completey forgot looney tunes and STH, old Satam one was the best I thought.

Almost forgot about sonic. Always had a special place for AoSTH series. Although I liked the SatAM too.
Oh yeah, sonic! Haha! And then there was Timon and Pumba, Bonkers the Bobcat, Marsupilami, Ducktales, Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers and The Mighty Ducks! XD Sigh~ how nostalgic...
