Man am I happy right now! Last time I had a decent summer job was 2 years ago at the post office driving packages!
This morning, though, I went to an interview and I got a job for the summer! Will be working as a security guard at stores that are open 24/7. Am taking night shifts from 11pm to 8AM, but that dont have to be so bad. I'll be working for about a week, then got 5-6 days off before working again.
This can actualy be fun, methinks.
Wow, you'll be living off caffeine, dude. Putting others' security above your own is respectable, but only if that store sells nice burgers. If not you're just wasting your life.
Hope you make a lot of cash, too!
Just don't scare the old ladies buying hairnets and dog food...their handbags can be quite volatile at close range.
Other then that, endure and earn your wages sir, keep those pesky varmits at bay! Arr!
Yeah, I admit it sucks I got night shift, but on the other hand it does pay much better. Heck, I'm earning more then I did back at the post office, and all in all I'll be working 2 and a half week each month or so!
And dont worry, Guilman, I heard the stories too. I'll be really careful ^_^

That sounds like a cool job though. Just stock up on some Monster or NOS or whatever caffeinated beverage you enjoy most and you should be set =)
Summer job, nice. And a securtiy guard, nice job but make sure your ready for anything.

But I have to be careful as my dad lost half of his finger in the motor when he was trying to get a peace of chocolate out of it but someone turned the machine on! So I have to be very careful there.
Night shifts, well if you can deal with that. I'd just be careful. You never know what can happen after dark. Maybe I'm just paranoid though as I live in the city.
