I thought of an alternative idea about the whole breaking the glass thing.
When he breaks through the glass, it resembles his chance to meet her in person in real life. However, compared to the time behind the glass, the time with her is but a very short fraction - and it's cost so much just for that short amount of time. Once he goes back, the wall's there once again - seperating them again.

Well, on a different note, the characters could be depicted as furries because furries are stereotyped as perverts. Talking could refer to meeting each other, drawing could refer to the start of their relationship, and getting to the other side could be interpreted as sexual intercourse.
Now the boy brutally beats the glass wall (which symbolizes the girl's virginity... or maybe hymen) and manages to break it- technically- because he has a premature ejaculation, making him too embarrassed to be with her (hand gets damaged) and he can't bare to show his face to her anymore. And then she reveals that she gave him another chance (her hand)- or perhaps that can symbolize venereal disease.
Did I ruin the animation for some people here? X3

The music, and the way it is animated screams "love story" to me. For some reaon, It's not loading past 50%, so I can't fully interpret it.. but I think that it is at least in part, about how sometimes, longing for something is better than actually getting it. In other words.. The dream is more pleasant than the reality.

It's very relevant, actually, especially after putting the fact that they're pseudo furries into consideration. One can argue that by sending him her hand, the spark rekindled again... but that's human nature for you. Sometimes a spark can can be lit until death, sometimes, it's only there until someone loses interest or can't gain anything anymore. Quite saddening, really...
