Who else watches this delicious masterpiece~? Let us discuss it in this thread!

I for one think that it is among the BEST anime ever! I'm glad they followed the manga plot! Its just sooooo much better than the original Full Metal Alchemist anime! Sure the anime was good too, but FMA: Brotherhood has a faster pace and makes me hunger for more more MORE!!
It is a good series and it adapting the manga is great. The manga is really good.
Ditto.

I say the original manga and Brotherhood far more surpasses the old 2k3 version.

Hopefully the next issue by May finally settles it with you-know-who.
I know! I'm quite glad that they basically stuck to the manga almost to the letter! There were some instances that never happened, like that one ice alchemist in the first episode, in the manga, but that's okay, because we got to see Armstrong's ka-wa-ii~ piano-lifting little sister again! XD

Do you guys have a favorite character? In the original anime, I was trying to decide between Izumi Curtis, Roy Mustang, Edward Elric, Alex Louis Armstrong or the Delectable Lust- but in FMA: B, it had become virtually IMPOSSIBLE for me to pick a favorite! Everyone's soooo likable! It makes me hope nobody else dies! XD

EDIT: Watching the latest episode- Roy Mustang makes me tingly! He's soooo scary and cool! XD
Well, it was confirmed that the manga will reach it's end by next month. Chapter 108 with a whooping 150 pages.

Arakawa-sensei, Happy Birthday and we salute you for an epic anime/manga series.
150 pages?! Holy Cow. (heh) That will take a long while to scanlate won't it. heh.
Good lord... it sounds epic already. *lower lip quiver* I need a moment.

I dare say FMA is epicness in anime personification.

And so is King Bradley. Epic Badassery to the end.
Does the new anime expect you too have watched the original. I tried too watch the 2k3 anime but after a couple episodes it didn't feel like it was going anywhere. I ended up bored and gave up on it.
The 2k3 FMA series' first half was following the manga, however, halfway through the story, it deviates from the original manga plot due to the original source material itself still ongoing.

Nope, you don't need to watch the 2K3 version to fully understand Brotherhood. Though the two make interesting comparisons against one another regarding difference.
