ok, you dont have to post a link to both chapters of the same story on fanfiction.net. your story...makes more sense when you play that part of the songs you have listed. Lucemon seems, whats the word....hesitant around the humans, yet he opens up to them at the first question. so how is he supposed to be portrayed? closed off or open?

He is supposed to be an OOC(Out-Of-Character). Lucemon is similar--in a viewpoint--to disillusioned soldier returning from the Vietnam War during the early 70s and sees all the termoil and bullshit going on, and reverts to drug use to cope with the doldrums. From that standpoint, I had to articulate into Lucemon's own persona with a disillusioned digimon who wishes to seek a "santuary on earth", yet ends up in a more hetectic time--late 60s and early 70s.

The comparison of a soldier and Lucemon, might be an unorthodox generalization, I'm well aware of the fact, but it's the persona that is sort of passed of Lucemon. Lucemon ends up in Earth, yet he doesn't reach the "peace", he'd hoped to reach. He reverts to drug use--heroin, weed, lsd, peyote, DMT, uppers/downers, cocaine,...he is pretty much ends up as a walking pharmacy, then later finally "kicks" the habait, after many, many tries.
