I have this idea I have thoughts of putting together for some time, now. Its's an AU and OOC style fic featuring Lucemon(rookie form).
The story starts with him being "reborn", from the events after Frontiers. He is a state of disillusionment & alienation. He doesn't same that much happy in the Digital World, and the other digimon that he can coverse at just he Celestial Angels. He decides to seek a santuary: Earth.
As he uses his own powers he creates a portal to the Earth. By some chance, as he travels through unknownstto him, he travels backwards in time. He ends up in mid December of 1969, specially San Fransico, Cali. At first, he doesn't know where the hell he is or even he is at. He ends up flying around and around the city. He ends up at this rural area, situated away from the city, and he encounters a young group, that live in a sort of commune. He befriends them and they as well. Together, they live in a day-to-day experiences. Also, they engage in drug use, and using an array of drugs: LSD, Mescaline, Weed, San Pedro Catcus, 'shrooms. He travels with them in various places: Fillmore West, Cow Palace, Winterland Ballroom, which they go to various concerts. He goes with them to various demonstrations against the Vietnam War--at its peak--.
Also, along the way, he meets more people: Abbie Hoffman(who wants to make him into a millitant), Bear aka Owsley Stanley(Grateful Dead's sound guy and an underground LSD cook), Janice Joplin, Jerry Gracia, members of the Black Panthers, Patty Hearst(who wants him to "join the revolution"), Hells' Angels, and countless people more to name.
In the midst of everything, Lucemon at some point in the story, he moves around with his characters, him and the rest of his young "countercultural" friends change; by the spring of '70, they are all change in characeter.
The story ends in the spring of 1973, after the Paris Peace Accords, which "ended" the Vietnam War.
The story also incorporates a "soundtrack" within the story. A specific song that is inserted within the story, which is lyrics included between lines. A "soundtrack" filled with late 60s/early 70s pop, pychedelic rock, Motown, 60/70s rock.
I known the summary fucking sucks, I know that, so I don't want people bashing me and everything. I just wanted an input from the various people on this forum board. If people hate the idea, then I will do this story. That's the bottom line, I will not do this story if people do not like the idea. I don't complain about all the lemons and slash stories out in the various sites, it's the authors' works, they should have their god-given rights, to create their own works. I feel the same way, I have my rights, to publish or to create a written work, and shouldn't be judged upon some negative feedback.
