I was just browsing around youtube and suddenly, for some reason I don't know, a video about the Black Cat from SpiderMan popped up, and then the nostalgia sort of kicked in. Dunno if it was the BGM or what, but I'd really like someone to pick up where Marvel left SpiderMan...

Other than that, I'd love getting my hands on the whole series they used to air in Fox Kids. It'll be really tough getting it on latino audio (The voice acting was spectacular), but if anything I'd just like to rewatch it.

Oh, and the video was this if anybody's curious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2V65SECjBA&feature=fvw

I had never considered these guys were into female muscle expansion :3
Ah, I loved superhero cartoons from the 90s. I remember the Spiderman cartoon, but my favorites would have to be Batman: The Animated Series and the X-Men that they also showed on Fox. In any case, yes I really wish they'd bring back cartoons like this.

And agreed, Black Cat is hot. XD
The Spider-Man animated series was good while it lasted, but I think it was really sub par compared to the X-Men animated series. The voice acting was very good in the Spider-Man series, but the fight scenes weren't done very well, and a lot of the animation was reused between episodes. Also, some of the storylines were way too toned down from the comics. Here are some of the best examples of that:

Green Goblin throwing Mary Jane (not Gwen Stacy) off a bridge and into an alternate dimension

Carnage stealing the souls of his victims causing them to go into comas

The Black Cat's origins based on her father as a criminal and Captain America's super soldier serum

That being said, yes, the Black Cat is extremely hot. Also, she's not the rip-off of Catwoman you might think. Read her Wiki; it's actually the other way around.
It's true that there were always flashbacks of some sorts in SpiderMan, I always saw them especially around the time they made that arc with the Water Clones. That one was scary.

But really Wise, I doubt you can judge a series' worth over some reused animations and some toned down fights. I absolutely loved how they kept pushing Parker around with the blackmail element, it was dramatic and complex, yet easily understable for someone of 6-9 years of age such as myself at that moment. Granted, X-Men centered mainly about the special-effected fights and the awesome, diverse characters with as much different powers as you could gather, but SpiderMan had that something I can't quite piece in it which they always kept me on the edge. I'd sometimes bash something nearby when they went "To be continued...". I used to cuss and swear when they'd do that.
Let's put it simply, with today's thing, should we really revise the good old stuff when they have the chance to be bastardized even more? D:

But the good old cartoons were brilliant. They had the atmosphere and everything about them that made it work.
Man, bring back The Tick. I fucking loved that show.
Second. Also, Yes, Black Cat is hot. I think most will agree with that.
But they were not FMEs. You're just looking into it too much.
Also, the newer Spectacular is great. Trust me on this, you know I'm right.
Uhm, why'd they put a lunar (black spot on the skin) on Parker's face anyway? And what's with making Eddy blonde and like Parker's great friend? o.รด

Oh, and by the way, going back to the original, did anything modificative happen to Peter Parker's never-had-sister Dorothy-Ann that I missed? I mean, I remember the thief's daughter who's name is escaping my memory (Might be Debra or something like that) who is the actual Black Cat that works for The King Pin was experimented on by trying that stuff they used to make Captain America or any of the other Super Soldiers, and many of the other 'mutants', but did anything awesome actually happen to that cute blonde nerd? :3

SPOOOOOON!!!!!

Actually, I'm pretty sure The Tick still airs on Toon Disney, though late at night. (Not Disney Channel or Disney, the channel is called Toon Disney. It's got all old Disney cartoons, including Digimon!)
Isn't it Disney X D now? (Space included just in case the board wanted to make it a smiley)
