Wowzers!

Okay, I probably shouldn't have used THAT phrase...but when did this place come back? One day, it's gone forever...now it's back? WTH? What exactly happened? Did the site just go down temporarily?...Anyway, I'm back. Nice to see ya all again.

It's been back for a while. The only thing different from before that it was changed to .org instead of .com. If you would of googled this place you would of found out where to find this place. xD

What are you talking about? The forum was down for only two weeks over year ago during a forum issue. The site itself was functional the whole time. That's the only down time the forums have had in anywhere recent times. The other being the name issue, but that wasn't really a down time but rather a name issue and it was dicussed in the alternative forum because the host liked to black mail us. After carefully analyzing the situation and while staying up to 7 am, I started the operation what I called "The Operation" and made a plan of which would make things functional, as I remember saying to Lord Patamon "Getting things back up is high priority, we are starting to lose members." My original idea was to have it called just www.digiartistdomain.com but then I heard it could be just changed to .org instead so we went with that instead with every one of us agreeing with that choice. The decision to do this and setting up the whole new host thing lasted less than three weeks. So I do not see your point in "going away forever" or you're just really impatient.
I wasn't aware of the change...ah well, I'll just attribute it to my own stupidity.:P
Same thing happened to me when it changed to .org. I didn't know. I just assumed the site was gone, then one day I decided to google it and found out I was retarded. Good times.
Almost everyone told everyone and the word was spread, even to FA.
Yeah. There might have been people we actually wanted here on there.
You may not have missed much here though.
We tried our best to spread the news to as many different forums as we could to announce the site's new URL as .org. Unfortunately, unless you're a gamer, a furry, or an artist, it might be a little more difficult to track you down. :p

But yeah, essentially the domain host sold our old .com to someone else, but said that we could have it back for a pretty steep price - $50 USD, if I recall correctly. I did some liaising with Wolfey/SonicHowler/LupineMP3j and our webmaster, Keiko, to see if there was a similar domain name available for less. After some looking, we found that .net, .co.uk, and .ca were not available, but that .org WAS, and for less than half what our old host was demanding for the .com.

Exciting times, indeed.

Glad you found us again, though. If you're in contact with any members that haven't found their way back, wanna let them know we're still here? :3
Actually that sounds like a swell idea. I didn't even realize people still didn't know the site was up. :D
ya ya, senjuro's right. We all contributed to spreading the news, I left a topic at Yiffstar's forums for instance 8D
