I'm sure he's done some other works--it's just that I have no idea what they are unfortunately. I wasn't really much of an MJ fan. ^^' But I certainly didn't have anything against him.

Nah, those songs were good so we'll probably be talking about them some more now.
I've heard some pretty lame jokes about the MJ death one of them i saw straight after i'd heard he'd died:
Person A: Hey, want half price tickets to Michael Jackson live?
Person B: haha man that joke is so BAD, i bet i could BEAT IT!
Personally, I never was interested in anything michael jackson did apart from his music. His music was influential on The Prodigy's "The Way It Is" song, for which i'm eternally grateful. May his music live on, and his body biodegrade peacefully.

If you're really looking for a pattern, I would say celebrities that were good at grabbing attention are dying off, but there really is no pattern.
