Is it possible to grab a video from YouTube,and convert it onto an avatar for this site? And has this idea been tried before?
You can get a picture from the video and use it if that's what you mean.

Yes it has my friend, unfortunately I changed it, I had a dancing gennia from episode 40 or maybe 41.
also just google "youtube downloader", the cropping it and making it a gif is upto you
