Have you ever looked up in the right hand corner of the site and wondered what that chat button was? Well, sir or madam, that is a chat room. In a chat room, you can talk to people in real time. Strange, yes?

Incredibly stupid and unfunny joke aside, I would like to get some use out of the chat room. You don't have to stop posting on the forum, but I'd actually like to have a conversation with someone without waiting a day for a reply.

I noticed there's an "offline messages" thing when I logged on today. Does that mean anything said in the rooms is left behind for "later generations"?

If that's true, there would be a lot of messages from me arguing with the chat room.

the offline messages is for when you have private chats with other members, if you have them on your add list, you can leave them a message and they will get it later when they sign in

But I agree that the chat is an area that is really forgotten

If you're just staring at the forum, open the chat room too. Use it, you fools! It's like a forum without the waiting! Have conversations there that you would otherwise be arrested for having!
