Happy New Year, everyone. Yes, it's an arbitrary point on the calendar, as arbitrary as the months themselves, and it probably would've been more appropriate had it occurred at the winter solstice, but whatever.
Well, there's Chinese New Year then there's April Fool's day which was Lunar New Year I'm pretty sure. Besides, aren't a lot of holiday dates arbitrary?
