After that, every BGM from MegaMan X games (X4, X5 and X6 and X8). I absolutely love them.
Then, Digimon World, Digimon World 2 (Still think it sucks) and Digimon World 3 have wonderful BGMs. The techno boss battle music at DW2 saved its butt!
I remember this BGM from KoF '97... I think it was when you fight the first Orochi fighter (Which would be human Chris, with the blue fire ability). That song rocks.
Finally, nostalgic BGMs from the Genesis/SNES game Lion King. They were pretty darn well done!
I prefer just the original Final Fantasy Battle and Boss music.
If I have to go with the title "Video Game Music"
I would go to the place known as the "Warp Zone" and listen to tracks by the Minibosses who by far have VG music with the rock edge on their side for years now. Great band and just really good renditions of classics like Metriod the main them, Mega Men 2 Medley (One of my favs) and many others.. There are bands that play Video Game Music and that only, oh the nostalgia.
Anyway if I go with anything it would be the FF Orchestra which came to Cali and Floria-land way back and missed both.
