The Chronicles Of Blood And Stone: The Fifth Sorceress, by Robert Newcomb... I think.

I got the book for free, so I figured, "what the Hell". It's surprisingly good. Check it out sometime.
Theres Harry Potter, which has a pretty good storyline which I pick up and read now and again.

The alex rider series are worth a read, again good storyline.

The Wardstone chronicles are great, at first it was a trial read but i followed it through and its great.
I just picked up the new Tales of Beetle the Bard, a book of fairy tales set in the Harry Potter universe (basically if you were a child in the wizard world you heard these stories) They are simple, but fun, and carry interesting lessons. The entire book can be read in an hour easy, its just over a hundred pages, but it's fun and interesting especially if you've read the series.
